Sun-Mi Hong Quintet 2nd Album
“A Self-Strewn Portrait”
The project was collaboration with prominent jazz musician Sun-mi Hong and her Quintet. It includes Visual Artwork related to the album and design of the album cover of CD and LP.
After a series of interviewing her and listening to her music, I have created an visual artwork that was inspired by her spirit that was desolved into her new album. Like the title, the artwork was developed from her self portrait and different colors and layers scattered throughout her face constitue the creativity in her music.
The Artwork inspired by the album was sold next to the CD album.
